The Computer Is a Lying Bastard: While the instructions claim that you cannot hurt the Grinning Colossus with your weapons, it is in fact possible.

It does however get rid of his torch, forcing him to get another one.

Collision Damage: Subverted in that while the protagonist does react to running into the Grinning Colossus, he can't really die.

Chekhov's Gun: The torch you pick up halfway through the game plays a vital role in defeating the final boss.

Breakout Character: The Grinning Colossus also appears as a boss in other web games Death vs Monsters 2, Anti-Idle: The Game, and Pickory.

Bottomless Magazines: You have axes galore in your Hammerspace, but they are completely useless now.
